MADISON - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a 7-0 win over Edgewood University at John Powless Tennis Center.
The Green Knights (6-10, 2-0 NACC) took two of three doubles matches to earn the doubles point.
Brett Daniels and
Charlie Keller dispatched Marek Woytasik and Andrew Hoffmann 6-2 at No. 1, while
Jackson Harpt and
Owen McDonough (pictured) defeated Ryan Casey and William Faley 6-2 at No. 3.
St. Norbert then swept all six singles matches. Daniels claimed a 6-2, 6-4 win over Jon Olafsson at No. 1, followed by a 6-1, 6-1 win for
Ryan Garland over Justin Hutchcroft at No. 2. Keller fashioned a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Woytasik at No. 3, with Harpt defeating Hoffmann 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4.
Nolan Pearson trimmed Casey 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, while
Seth Kogutkiewicz routed Faley 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
The Green Knights will enjoy a nearly two-week break in action until it returns to the courts on Saturday, April 11, to face Milwaukee School of Engineering in a key NACC dual at Green Bay Tennis Center.
