ADRIAN, Mich. - St. Norbert College completed its weekend series at Adrian College, being swept after a 5-1 loss to the Bulldogs in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Arrington Ice Arena.
The Green Knights (11-8-2, 8-4-2 NCHA) found themselves behind 2-0 to the No. 9 ranked Bulldogs just after the start of the second period until Ali Sanders scored her second goal of the week off an Allison Jacobsen (pictured) assist at 2:04.
It eventually became a 4-1 game in favor of Adrian by the end of the second frame, and with one more goal by the Bulldogs in the third period it was far out of reach for the Green Knights.
St. Norbert outshot Adrian 35-26. Keira Markell made eight saves before Tanith Plachetka covered the final 28 minutes with 13 stops. Kiera Stack made 34 saves for Adrian.
St. Norbert was 0-for-5 on the power play, while Adrian went 1-for-3.
