DE PERE – St. Norbert College opened its 2025 home slate with a narrow defeat to Calvin University, dropping a 1-0 non-conference contest at Schneider Stadium.  

The Green Knights (0-3) were pressured by Calvin early, forcing three early saves from Jackson Kiszka (pictured). The Knights found their way onto the scoreboard after 30 minutes of dangerous looks on offense, with Matt Torrell putting away the lone goal of the game at 29:49.  

St. Norbert's best looks on goal came in the second half, with shots from Ben Swicionis and Dominic Lagona. Jack Schwade and Hayden Dunn both had shots in the final minutes but found no equalizer.  

Kiszka made seven saves for St. Norbert. The Green Knights trailed in corner kicks 8-3 and committed eight fouls to Calvin's 11.
