DE PERE - St. Norbert College rebounded from its first loss in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a convincing 6-1 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering at Green Bay Tennis Center.
The Green Knights (3-2, 3-1 NACC) captured the doubles point with two wins.
Jordan Domnick and
Allison Unverzagt nipped Lana Brooks and Ana Kamiyama 7-5 at No. 1, with
Irene Multhauf (pictured) and
Alyssa Tegen claiming a 6-3 victory over Amelia Segelstrom and Delaney Premeau at No. 2.
St. Norbert took five of the six singles matches. Unverzagt defeated Premeau 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2, while Vechart led Brooks 6-2, 1-0 before Brooks retired at No. 3. Multhalf blanked Segelsstrom 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. Tegen topped Simona Sulimas 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5 and
Madeline Diefenthaler trimmed Emily Gutknecht 6-2, 6-3 at No. 6.
The Green Knights return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 1, when they host Marian University at Green Bay Tennis Center.
