CHICAGO, Ill. - St. Norbert College secured a 3-1 victory against Illinois Institute of Technology in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference matchup at Stuart Field.
The Green Knights (4-4, 2-0 NACC) notched one goal in the first half and added two more in the second before Illinois Tech got on the board in the final minutes of the game.
Dominic Lagona scored the opener on a penalty kick at 28:49.
Kevin Ramirez doubled the lead off an assist from
Ben Swicionis at 51:10, before netting his second goal of the game at 75:06 off an assist from
Will Swicionis. Illinois Tech's Carson Floyd found the net with just over one minute left of play to avoid the shutout.
St. Norbert put five of their eight shots on target coming from four different players. The Scarlet Hawks placed four of 11 shots on goal and led in corners 9-4.
Jackson Kiszka played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded three saves.
