AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College junior Dawson Fish (pictured) had a day to remember at the Aurora University Double Gun Invitational, notching two eagles which included a hole-in-one in the first round en route to a tie for seventh place at Aurora Country Club.
Fish finished with a score of 71-75--146 to finish two over par after 36 holes in his tie for seventh and becoming the first Green Knight since 2014 with a hole-in-one. Aurora won the team title with a 285-288--573, while UW-Stout came in second with a 301-287--588. Aurora's Caleb Negley won the individual title with a 70-69--139.
Brendan Lange finished in a tie for 20th with a 75-76--15, while Conner Krach and Dixon Holewinski tied for 25th. Krach and Holewinski both carded a 74-78--152. Sam Schneider rounded out the Green Knights with a tie for 71st with a score of 78-83--161.
Leading St. Norbert's "B" was Troy Watt, finishing in a tie for 54th and scoring 79-79--158. Max Renard came in 80th with a 77-87--164.
