
RIVER FALLS - St. Norbert College finished seventh out of 13 teams at the season-opening UW-River Falls Invitational at River Falls Golf Club.
The Green Knights completed the 36-hole circuit with aggregate scores of 350-341--691. UW-Stout won the team title with a score of 321-323--644. Dakota Wesleyan University's Allison Meyerink led a field of 75 contestants with a medalist score of 78-76--154.
Emma Laundrie was part of a three-way tie for ninth place to lead the Green Knights' efforts, shooting an 84-83--167.
Vivien Ninham was tied for 19th place with an 88-84--172.
Ava Frederiksen (pictured) finished tied for 26th place at 86-89--175.
Michayla Leonard finished in 38th place at 93-85--178, while
Amber Miller tied for 63rd place with a 92-102--194.
St. Norbert returns to action on Sept. 7-8 at the Marian University Invitational.
