DE PERE – St. Norbert College junior Jason Schroeder has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's Pitcher of the Week, announced today by the conference office.  

Schroeder, a Niles, Ill., native and West High School graduate, made program history in St. Norbert's 1-0 win over Concordia University Wisconsin, becoming the first pitcher in school history to throw a complete game shutout in a game longer than nine innings. Throwing 10 scoreless innings, he allowed seven hits and struck out two as the Green Knights swept the Falcons.  

The award is the first for Schroeder in his career.
