VERONA – St. Norbert College wrapped up the 2025 season with a 5-2 loss to Edgewood College in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Ceniti Park.
Originally scheduled to be a doubleheader this afternoon, the second game made it through four innings before being cancelled for rain and poor field conditions.
Allison Ardito put the Green Knights in front in the first inning, scoring after Addison Race got on base following a Edgewood error. After the Eagles tied the game on a wild pitch in the second, the Green Knights regained the lead off a Zoe Zasada (pictured) RBI single to score Savannah Jandrin as St. Norbert took a 2-1 lead in the fourth. Edgewood scored four unanswered runs in the bottom of the inning, as the Eagles went on to win 5-2.
Zasada finished the game with two hits and one RBI. Bailie Thielen took the loss, pitching six innings and allowing seven hits and five runs with four strikeouts and two walks.
