Early and Late Goals Down St. Norbert

DE PERE – St. Norbert College conceded early and late to Edgewood University and were downed 2-0 in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Schneider Stadium.  

The Green Knights (2-10-1, 2-4-1 NACC) trailed after 10:39 in the first half and conceded again with just under 20 seconds remaining in the contest.  

Although outshot 13-2 in the first half, St. Norbert responded by outshooting the Eagles 6-3 in the second half. Mackenzie Schneider had several long-range opportunities from set pieces that forced saves, who in total had three shots on goal. Shelby Busch, Addie Schneider and Meredith Posanski (pictured) each had one attempt that hit on frame.  

Taylor Wilson made six saves for the Green Knights. Edgewood's Madeline Brown and Emma Swenson combined for six saves.  

Rylee Brotz finished with three points for Edgewood, scoring the opening goal and assisting on the second.
