WEST CHICAGO, Ill. - St. Norbert College resides in a tie for second place after the first of three days of competition at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Golf Championship at St. Andrew's Golf & Country Club.

The Green Knights finished with a 325, tied with Marian University in the nine-team field. The two are three strokes behind first-place Aurora University's 322. 

Emma Laundrie is tied with Marian's Yinan Lu atop the 52-player field after carding a 76. Vivien Ninham is tied for third place just three strokes back after finishing with a 79.

Ava Frederiksen (pictured) and Michayla Leonard are tied for 14th place, each posting an 85. Jordan Perry is tied for 19th place with an 87, while Amber Miller is tied for 28th place after finishing at 92.

The second round starts at 11 a.m. Sunday.
