Green Knights Stay In Second Place at NACC Championship

Conner KrachKOHLER - St. Norbert College held its position at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Championship, remaining in second place after the second of three days at Blackwolf Run's Meadow Valleys course.

The Green Knights shot a 316 on Day 2 for a total score of 622. St. Norbert is seven strokes ahead of third-place Milwaukee School of Engineering and trails front-running Aurora University by 34 strokes. Aurora's Brandon Burggraf leads a field of 57 individuals with a 145.

Brendan Lange sits in fifth-place tie after shooting a 76 for a two-day total of 150. Dawson Fish is tied for eighth place after firing a 75 for a two-day score of 151, scrambling to a 33 on the back nine with three birdies.

Conner Krach (pictured) had five birdies on Day 2 to score a 77, with his total of 155 putting him in 12th place. Dixon Holewinski fell into a tie for 31st place after scoring an 88 for a two-day total of 166.

Max Renard and Ryan Gearen are both tied for 48th place with a total of 175, with Renard scoring a 90 and Gearen an 88 on Day 2.
