DE PERE – Nathaniel Duncan has been named St. Norbert College Assistant Director of Athletics Communications.
 
Duncan arrives after spending the 2023-24 academic year as the sports information director at Newman University, a private, Catholic NCAA Division II school in Wichita, Kan. Duncan, who was selected from a pool of over 130 applicants, will start June 10.
 
"Nathaniel has experience at the scholarship level at a school with similar sports offerings to St. Norbert," St. Norbert assistant athletics director/communications Dan Lukes said. "His enthusiasm and experience running a Division II athletics communications program will help showcase the storytelling and positive growth of our student-athletes and campus."
 
Duncan, a St. Louis native, served as an intern at Newman during the 2022-23 school year while completing his master's degree in sport management at Wichita State University.
 
"I am very excited to be a part of the Green Knight family," Duncan said. "St. Norbert just felt like home to me the moment I stepped foot on campus. Getting to work at an excellent school and in an outstanding athletic department makes this even more rewarding."
 
Duncan completed his bachelor's degree in journalism with an emphasis in sports media in 2022 at The University of Kansas. He worked for the KU athletics department his senior year as one of the voices for Jayhawk softball and called the national championship win for Kansas men's basketball on the campus radio station.
