ORLANDO, Fla. - St. Norbert College began its spring-break trip to Florida with a pair of matches at the UTSA National Campus.

The Green Knights opened with a 5-4 loss to NAIA foe University of St. Francis (Ind.) before dropping a 9-0 decision to Roger Williams University.

St. Norbert took a 2-1 lead with a pair of doubles wins against St. Francis. Grace Peters and Anna Vechart topped Tori Rodenbeck and Alyssa Ciocca 6-4 at No. 2, while Mallory Names and Anna Krupka defeated Emma Dellinger and Ellie Klinger 7-6 at No. 3.

Mayghan Bongle fashioned a three-set win over Ciocca 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 at No. 4 singles, while Vechart beat Klinger 6-2, 7-6 at No. 5.

St. Norbert had its schedule change for its third day of competition. The Green Knights' match against Anderson (Ind.) University was canceled due to travel issues for the Ravens, so St. Norbert will face NCAA Division II West Chester (Pa.) University at 11 a.m. EDT at the USTA National Campus.
