MADISON - St. Norbert College rallied from a late 11-point deficit to claim a hard-fought 70-66 win over Edgewood College in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Todd Wehr Edgedome.

The Green Knights (19-4, 14-2 NACC) had its share of the lead in the NACC standings sitting in dire straits when they trailed 54-43 with 8:25 remaining after Edgewood's Dawson Hughes connected on a 3-pointer. St. Norbert still found itself in rough seas after Edgewood's Hunter Hardyman converted a conventional three-point play for a 58-50 lead with 5:34 to go.

St. Norbert would then go on an 8-0 run over the next 2:28 to get back into the game. Garrett Grzesk split a pair of free throws and then followed with a 3-pointer at 4:35 to halve the deficit. Evan Glaser finished inside twice, the latter at the 3:06 mark to knot the score at 58-58. Possessions started to run long as Edgewood retook the lead on a pair of Cade Ellingson free throws at the 2:40 mark, but Glaser finished inside again at 2:22 for a 60-60 tie. St. Norbert then got a stop and Carter Gebler drained a trey with 1:30 to go for St. Norbert's first lead of the game at 63-60. St. Norbert would hold off Edgewood the rest of the way by making 7 of 8 free throws the rest of the way.

The Green Knights fell behind early and outside of a 21-21 tie with 6:14 left in the first half, trailed the entire opening 20 minutes and trailed 33-31 at halftime. St. Norbert would get a pair of ties early in the second half, with Edgewood going on a 12-1 run for a 46-35 lead with 13:17 to go. St. Norbert would get no closer than six until its late charge.

St. Norbert shot 48.8 percent (21-for-43) from the floor and was 22-for-33 (66.7 percent) at the free-throw line. Glaser led the Green Knights with 17 points, while Aidan Harrington added 14 points. Jamison Nickolai finished with 13 points and Gebler added 10 points.

Edgewood shot 37.3 percent (22-for-59) from the floor. Ellingson led the Eagles with 13 points.
