MONTGOMERY, Ill. - St. Norbert College concluded its season in a 5-2 loss at Aurora University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference quarterfinal. The Green Knights were able to equalize twice, but with three straight goals in the second half, the Spartans were able to come away with the victory.  

Aurora got on the board first with a goal from Josue Roman at 24:42. Nate Jocz saved two consecutive shots against the Spartans, before a rebound from the second save gave Roman the opportunity to score.  

The Green Knights would then score with just six seconds remaining in the first half, as a Willem van den Akker cross found Everett Saeger for his second goal of the season.  

After conceding a second goal at the start of the second half, Payton Schilz (pictured) scored at 54:23 to give St. Norbert its second equalizer of the day and tie the game at 2-2.  

The Spartans would then find the winner just two minutes later, as Roman scored his second goal of the day at 56:28. Two more goals at 66:57 and 78:27 put the game out of reach for the Green Knights.  

St. Norbert was outshot 23-20, with nine of St. Norbert's shots hitting on target.  

Nate Jocz made three saves in over 71 minutes of action, while Ryan Fleming made two.
