WAUWATOSA – St. Norbert College drew 1-1 with Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday, scoring an early goal in the first half to take the lead before conceding the equalizer just before half.  

The Green Knights belted the Warriors goal with shots from the very start of the game, forcing five saves from Sam Schroeder. Aleah Reesman (pictured) had three shots on target in just the first 15 minutes.  

Abby Thompson was able to break past the defense at 7:34, scoring her third goal of the season off an Emilie Harwood assist.  

Wisconsin Lutheran was able to score an equalizer at 33:15, with Ginny Shade scoring with one of the Warriors first attempts on goal.  

The shots would not fall as kindly to St. Norbert in the second half, having only four shots on goal. Thompson nearly scored a brace at the end of the game, but her shot was saved with just under three minutes remaining.  

The Green Knights outshot the Warriors 24-8, with 16 of St. Norbert's shots coming in the first half. Taylor Wilson made one save, while Schroeder was tested with 12.
