DE PERE - St. Norbert College slowly pulled away from Milwaukee School of Engineering and claimed a 66-38 victory in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game on Connie Tilley Court at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.
The Green Knights (19-3, 15-0 NACC) moved to within one win of clinching at least a share of the NACC championship and also sealed a bye into the semifinals in the upcoming NACC Tournament. The win is the 11th straight for St. Norbert, which leads Wisconsin Lutheran College by two games in the NACC standings with three games remaining.
St. Norbert never trailed but the Raiders hung around early, with the game tied 8-8 just over the midway point of the first quarter. 
Kaycee Gierczak's inside move put St. Norbert up 10-8, and 
Olivia DeCleene's steal and runout layup led to an and-one with 11 seconds left for a 13-8 lead at the quarter break. The Green Knights opened the second quarter on a 17-4 run to break the game open. 
Emma Morrisey swished a pair of 3-pointers during the run, with 
Natalie Cerrato adding another. 
Chloe Gruszynski's layup put St. Norbert up 30-15 with 2:33 left to go in the half. Gruszynski buried a 3-pointer just before halftime for a 36-19 intermission lead.
The Green Knights continued to build their lead in the third quarter, eventually doubling up the Raiders with a 50-25 lead on a Gruszynski basket late in the third quarter. St. Norbert led 52-27 after three periods, and eventually led by 33 points in the fourth quarter.
St. Norbert shot 39.1 percent (27-for-69) from the floor. Gierczak had a team-high 18 points, while Morrisey had 17 points while going 5-for-8 from beyond the three-point arc. DeCleene had 12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five steals, while Gruszynski added 11 points.
MSOE shot 27.7 percent (13-for-47) from the field. Raekyiah Williams came off the bench to lead the Raiders with nine points and 13 rebounds.
