DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior Michael Payant has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced today by the conference office.

Payant, a Pewaukee native, had a big performance in St. Norbert's key 66-60 win over Wisconsin Lutheran last Tuesday. Payant, playing 39 minutes, finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds while also adding one assist and one steal. His defense was also crucial as the Green Knights collectively held the Warriors to 60 points, 21 points under their current season average.
