GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College faced crosstown NCAA Division I opponent UW-Green Bay and dropped a hard-fought 65-63 decision at Kress Center.

The Green Knights trailed by seven with 1:48 remaining but got it to one possession with 1:06 left. St. Norbert then trailed 65-63 with 7.4 seconds left. The Green Knights got possession with 4.1 seconds left trailing by two and had to go the length of the floor but a potential game-winning 3-pointer was offline at the horn.

St. Norbert took the lead at 8-6 and eventually led by 10 at 25-15 with 3:25 left in the first half before settling on a 31-26 halftime lead. The Phoenix retook the lead at 37-35 with 14:17 to go and eventually built a nine-point lead before St. Norbert hung around and made its late charge.
