Box Score APPLETON – A cold-shooting night doomed St. Norbert College against a hot-shooting Lawrence University squad in a 68-56 loss in a non-conference game at Alexander Gym.
St. Norbert shot 28.2 percent from the floor, making 20 of 71 field-goal attempts. The Green Knights were 4-for-26 (15.4 percent) from beyond the three-point arc.
The Green Knights (0-2) never led as the Vikings (1-3) jumped out to an early 11-2 lead and stayed in control throughout the game. St. Norbert got to within 29-28 late in the first half before trailing 31-28 at halftime.
St. Norbert got the opening points of the second half and then had the ball but missed, and the Vikings then went on a 12-2 run to take a 43-32 lead with 15:26 left. Lawrence would eventually take a 59-40 lead with 6:10 left. The Green Knights went on a 10-0 run over the next 4:10 to get to within 59-50 with 2 minutes to go. St. Norbert's 61-53 deficit with 1:32 remaining would be as close as the Green Knights would get the rest of the way.

Lawrence shot 47.1 percent (24-for-51) and was 9-for-23 (39.1 percent) from distance. Adnan Sarancic led the Vikings with 25 points.
