BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - St. Norbert College opened its appearance in the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitatonal with a 3-0 loss to No. 9-ranked Wittenberg University at Shirk Center.
The Green Knights (15-11) dropped the match to the Tigers (20-3) by a 25-22, 25-17, 25-13 count.
St. Norbert had an early 6-3 lead in Set 1 and stayed with Wittenberg throughout the rest of the set, holding a lead of 20-18 and a late tie at 22-22. The Green Knights couldn't slow down the Tigers the rest of the way, with Wittenberg hitting .423 (40-7-78) for the match.
The Green Knights hit .156 for the match, with 28 kills against 14 errors in 90 attempts.

Brooke Clement and 
Rylie Gregg all had six kills apiece. 
Heidi Colburn had 14 assists, while Gregg had two service aces.
Erin Eggers had a team-high seven digs. 
Molly Rader added two blocks.
