EAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College couldn't hold off a powerful UW-Eau Claire squad in a 6-1 loss to the third-ranked Blugolds in a non-conference game at Hobbs Ice Center.
The Green Knights (10-4) fell behind 3-0 after Eau Claire (14-1) scored one first-period goal and added two more in the first 7 1/2 minutes of the second period.
Morgan Olson then scored at 9:05 of the second period off assists from 
Eve Parker and 
Natalie Hogan. The marker was Olson's 16th of the season, tying her with Henriette Ostergaard's 16 goals in 2012-13 for the second-most in a season. Ali Parker's 17 goals in 2013-14 is the school record. That goal held up into the second intermission with the Green Knights trailing 3-1.
Eau Claire then scored three third-period goals to put the game away.
The Blugolds outshot St. Norbert 49-15. 
Evi Johnson made 43 saves for the Green Knights, while Stephanie Martin made 14 stops for Eau Claire.
St. Norbert was 0-for-1 on the power play, while Eau Claire was 2-for-3.
