DE PERE - Abby Gildernick has been promoted to St. Norbert College Associate Athletics Director & Senior Woman Administrator, athletics director Cam Fuller announced today.

Gildernick, now in her fourth year in the athletics department, previously held the title of Assistant Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator.

"Our extraordinarily talented team at St. Norbert College is well positioned to serve our students-athletes through a commitment to our pillars for success - academics, athletics, community and student-athlete experience," Fuller said. "Abby is a tireless worker that consistently goes above and beyond for St. Norbert College. Her leadership will be instrumental in impacting the experience of our nearly 600 student-athletes."

Gildernick will now have supervision over several sports programs and designated areas, including baseball, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's volleyball, women's soccer, men's and women's cross country/track and field, men's and women's swimming and diving, equipment and sports medicine. She will also oversee student-athlete development and remain as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee adviser as well as the department's Name, Image and Likeness efforts. Gildernick will also be responsible for institutional control of NCAA and conference compliance to ensure teams and student-athletes are eligible for competition.

Gildernick will continue to oversee all of the financial responsibilites for the athletics department, including budgeting and forecasting. She will also continue to handle travel arrangements, provide event management at home games and continue in her role as SWA.
