St. Norbert, Cornerstone Community Center Dedicate Tim Coghlin Rink

Tim Coghlin Rink DedicationDE PERE - St. Norbert College, in partnership with the Cornerstone Community Center, named the facility's Rink No. 1 as "Tim Coghlin Rink" at Hilliard Weyers Arena in a dedication prior to the Green Knights' 7-1 win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Friday, Dec. 3.

Coghlin recorded his 600th career win at the helm of the Green Knights with a win over Finlandia University on Nov. 19. Over his 28-year tenure, Coghlin has built St. Norbert hockey into one of the best programs in Division III athletics, capturing five NCAA Division III national championships with 12 Frozen Four appearances. The Green Knights have also captured a total of 31 combined Northern Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season and tournament championships.

Coghlin became just the fourth coach to win 600 hockey games at the Division III level, and currently stands 13th in career wins across all divisions in the history of college hockey. Coghlin was also the fastest to 600 wins in college hockey history, accomplishing the feat in just 818 games. Coghlin's career record stands at 604-160-58 after St. Norbert's win over Concordia Wisconsin.
