OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College went cold on the first day of winter, suffering a 73-54 loss to UW-Oshkosh in a non-conference game at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights (7-3) shot just 35.1 percent from the floor, including 29.6 percent in the second half, and saw a 13-game road winning streak snapped. Oshkosh, ranked No. 5 in the D3hoops.com Top 25, improved to 10-1.

St. Norbert and Oshkosh were deadlocked at 13-13 before the Green Knights went on a 10-0 run. Evan Glaser got the run started with a layup, followed by a pair of jumpers from Jacob Bolwerk. Jack Pettit then had a layup followed by a Garrett Grzesk hoop for a 23-13 lead with 9:16 left in the first half. The Green Knights still had a 26-21 lead with 6:20 left in the half on a Grzesk 3-pointer, but Oshkosh then went on a 16-3 run to close out the half for a 37-29 halftime lead.

The Green Knights would trail 40-33 with 18:17 to go on a Bolwerk jumper, but Oshkosh would score the next eight points to open up a 48-33 lead with 15:33 left. St. Norbert would get to within 10 at 61-51 with 5:41 left, but would get no closer.

St. Norbert finished 20-for-57 from the floor and was 3-for-15 from beyond the three-point arc. Carson Talbert led St. Norbert with 12 points, while Bolwerk added 10.

Oshkosh shot 43.9 percent (25-for-57) from the floor and was 6-for-24 (25 percent) from distance. The Titans held a commanding 44-31 rebounding advantage. Levi Borchert led Oshkosh with 18 points and 18 rebounds, while Eddie Muench added 14 points.
