MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College closed out regular-season play in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with a 3-0 win over Alverno College at Reiman Gymnasium.
The Green Knights (18-13, 9-4 NACC) doused the Inferno by scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-11. St. Norbert will host Milwaukee School of Engineering at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 in a first-round match in the NACC Tournament.
St. Norbert hit .299 for the match, getting 36 kills against 13 errors in 77 attempts. Nine different Green Knights registered a kill, with
Rylie Gregg posting a team-high seven.
Molly Mulvey added six, while
Brooke Clement and
Lauren Borchardt added five apiece.
Devon Nardoni had 18 assists and
Skye McGill added 10. McGill posted six service aces while Nardoni added three.
Nardoni led the defense with five digs, while Mulvey had the Green Knights' lone block.
Alverno hit .138 (20-12-58), with Selena Upshur adding a match-high nine kills.
