
RIVER FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College got 15 shots off but couldn't connect in the scoring column in a 3-0 loss at first-place Dominican University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at West Campus Field.
The Green Knights and Stars battled to a scoreless first half, with St. Norbert outshooting Dominican 9-6 in the first 45 minutes of action. Dominican would score a pair of goals less than four minutes apart early in the second half, with Katie Norlie scoring at 52:46 and Regan Coxon scoring at 56:16. The Stars' Hannah Anderson scored at 78:59 to close out the scoring.
Dominican would hold an 18-15 shots edge for the game, with a 12-6 not in the second half. The Stars had five corner kicks to the Green Knights' two, and also had a commanding 16-6 edge in fould.
Lilly Collins turned away eight shots in goal for St. Norbert, while Ashley Ishman had seven stops for Dominican.
